In order to manufacture Frank Heppes’ patented casting cores production processes from casting and welding technology are combined and extended. Drahtzug Stein combicore broadens the portfolio of the flux-cored wire production from Drahtzug Stein wire & welding. Drahtzug Stein drahtwaren is a competent partner when it comes to wire shaping technology. If needed we can also access know-how from other companies of the Drahtzug Stein group. This puts us in the position to react fast to new customers’ requests and market developments with high-quality and reliable solutions and to make prompt deliveries. Special product developments for the automotive industry are notably part of it.

Casting cores allow a consequent light-weight construction and offer outstanding advantages in particular for aluminum pressure casting as well as magnesium casting.

Combicore cores answer today’s requirements of modern casting technology and satisfy modern, ecological and economical determining factors. We manufacture in a water protection area, in the middle of the Palatine Forest in Altleiningen / Germany. Our molding material provides stability and meets high ecological requirements. This filling can be easily removed and is normally reusable.
